Day 1 - 9/05/07

First day, night actually, to ever actually do my own blog. This will be short because it is late. My main focus will be to express a few opinions about politics, war, terrorism, music, life, family, disc golf, friends, etc. I have no idea if or with who I'll share this blog with. If you're reading it and you aren't me, then somehow I shared it with you. I either know you and lamely sent you a link or you have stumbled into my blog accidently. Either way, I hope the typing errors are few enough that you can get through it, let alone is it interesting enough?
Most people that know me even slightly know that I believe George W. Bush and his administration are worthy of least being paraded in front of a hearing process and being publicly humiliated by having to explain their every decision and subsequent screw up. An impeachment process should be in order, but I realize that it probably will never happen. I'm not for impeachment because it's Bush and Cheney (the Dark Lord). I'm for impeachment because of the next president and vice president. What will their interpretation of powers be if what these two guys have done is allowed to go completely unchallenged. I'll worry much less about that if John Edwards is elected. John Edwards is the guy I support. I have to vote for the guy that I think has the best heart, the best intent for our country. Last time that was Kerry. Before that, it was Gore. Believe it or not, I voted for Reagan. Not the first time, but the second time. I coudn't vote for George H.W. Bush. When Bill Clinton came along, it was an easy choice for me. I went with Bill both times.
Our family had a bad day today. Had something happen to us in a court room that was unfair. After waiting for more than a year for our day in court, the court house shut down early for an evacuation drill. Our case got postponed. I'll not say what it was about for now. I will say that we still had to pay for the lawyer and his aide to be there. We've had to pay a lot of money so far and this was more that we shouldn't have had to spend for a postponement. It was unkind and unfair.
That will do for now. I won't run out of things to write about. I'm hoping to address my favorite subject, music, tomorrow. Thanks for dropping in, No More "W's",
Hank
