Day 6 9/16/07

A reply to an e-mail: I had planned to make my next post to discuss the trade situation with China. However, a very compelling e-mail came to me yesterday that I cannot / will not post here because of the strong language in it.
To CBA, you have questioned my patriotism and character because of my views and the content of my blog. I do agree with you that it is "my country, right or wrong" and that Dubya is "our President, right or wrong". I do not accept your idea that to question our President is unpatriotic. It is not "unpatriotic to be against war". Mister CBA, the first thing you'll notice is that I've corrected all of your spelling errors. You have more right than I do to be angry with this country. This country has failed to educate you well enough to be able to communicate your thoughts and arguments with your writing skills. You're not even intellectually far enough along to use spell check. This current President is more willing to kill our men in Iraq than he is to properly educate our children here at home.
Your assumption that I am a Democrat is incorrect. The Democrats just happen to be the party that can pull us back into some balance here. That idea is probably way over your head, but give it a try. Being anti-war does not make me a p___y, as you said, and spelled incorrectly. This is the year 2007, people have been at war since we've been on earth. It's about time we found a better way. Obviously, creating more weapons gets us nowhere near world peace. I am not a pro gun control freak as you alledge, making another wild assumption. I do not own a gun and do not need one, but I would never support a law that says law abiding citizens cannot own one. I would like for there to a way to get the guns out of the hands of dangerous people, but how do you get there?
I am not pro abortion as you also assume. I do believe that the country and the world face a popluation problem. Most of this population growth is in the legions of the poor. Something must be done about that. Until there is 100% adoption of all the world's orphans and something is done to level the population growth, then I think abortion needs to stay. I do think it is a tragic solution to what should be an easy enough problem to fix.
You say that I would have the next President providing "socialized medicine". Is that what it's called when a group of Americans think that our tax dollars would be better used if spent on the health of our citizens rather than blowing up countries? How about if our money went to take care of us for a change? Too much for you?
If you don't think Dubya is really a criminal, then do yourself a favor, don't just have an opinion, have an informed opinion, go read a book or a newspaper.
Finally, Mister CBA, I still welcome you to come by and read my opinions and I still welcome your opinions. Don't put words in my mouth and keep the foul language out of your comments. Try spell check sometime just to make it a little easier for me to read what you're trying to say.

CBA ... try to take the G.E.D. preparation course. Also a course in history might do ya good to. In the Declaration of Independence it is written:
