Opening thought here: It appears that Iran may have adopted the US's idea of "It's better to fight them over there than it is here at home". I say that because of increasing evidence that Iran is participating in the Iraq War, albeit in as nearly a cowardly fashion as can be imagined. I am truly beginning to believe that Arabic men are incapable of fighting conventionally. They all seem to know how to operate a grenade launcher, set up road side bombs, make car and truck bombs and obviously have nearly perfected suicide bombings. I don't know if I should pity such obvious cowardice, or admire the brilliance of keeping it so simple. It is obvious that I detest this war and the American administration responsible for it. What I really hate is how many people have died in the name of Islam. Islam has become nothing more than an excuse for mass murderers to kill for a cause. Don't think for a moment that I forget that Christianity is just as bad. Christianity does happen to have a government working for it this time. Of course we had to dismantle a government in Iraq because Dubya and God talked it over and God told Dubya to blow the heathens away. I still remember when Dubya screwed up and said on "teevee" that we were fighting a crusade. How many others remember that?
Thanks to JRA for the kind approval of this blog. He points out that it ain't so obvious how to comment. If you'd like to comment then just click on "View My Complete Profile" on the left of the page. There is a spot to e-mail. I must see the comment before posting it to the blog site to make sure you're not cursing me out or anything like that. JRA also notes that I am an Abby Hoffman living in Garland. Honestly, that is a mixed compliment. I did admire Abby, but he was a little out there in his personal life.
Finally got caught up on all of Bush's speech. Turns out all that I missed was his new lies. If you haven't seen details of all of the lies that his speech writers, Cheney and he came up with then you may want to start checking newspaper or cable news story accounts of the speech. I just don't want to spend the time here. The whopper about our allies invloved is really unbelievable. I can't even imagine why they thought they could put that in a speech and get away with it. Oops, what am I thinking, this the guy who sold us the Iraq War to begin with. If you were one of the believers in the beginning, then there is a good chance that you still may be. Without trying to sound like the smartest guy in room, I never bought it. When Dubya was elected the first time I knew better than to vote for that pecker head. After 9-11 I was behind him 100% along with the rest of the world. Then he starts bombing Afghanistan to kill bin Laden. Hey, I wanted bin Laden's ass dead, also. Bombing a bunch of guys in caves, that you have no idea which cave they're in, is like throwing baseballs at bugs across your yard when you don't know where they're hiding. Get some of our bad dudes on the ground and get in there and kick their asses. That's when I knew that this idiot and his posse didn't have a clue what to do next. Next thing you know, it's The Taliban that we're focused on there. Soon after that is when he hatches the Iraq diversion to prove to all of us that he and his cohorts really didn't know what to do next. A bad thing happened though, too many people got on board and he was able to sell it to the American people. The voices shouting that Iraq was involved with 9-11 and had WMDs were much louder than the voices that were saying whoa, can't be. In that few months America lost it's honor and dignity. We allowed a very stupid bunch of people to ruin everything we stood for. I think the polls still show that Dubya has about 30 - 35% job approval. How can that be? Why hasn't this man and his administration been sent packing for prison? There is something wrong with people when they can accept this type of leadership. The American people are not the criminals. They just wanted someone to lead in a time of crises. Too many trusted and did not question this pack of wolves. Some Republicans are beginning to turn on this insane clown posse. What is troubling is how long it has taken. How much more time do we have to give this guy to kill more people, do more damage and spend more of our tax dollars?
China's place in my ulcer in the next post. Thanks for coming by, no more "W's".
